Biography
I am a Quebec city artist with a passion for life who has traveled the world in search of ever greater things. The arts community has always been very present in my life. I studied fashion design, then switched to makeup. I made it my career for 11 years. In 2018, I changed my makeup brushes to paint brushes.
Since then, I have worked in semi-abstract art and invite people to travel to other universes thanks to my creations. Nature and the cosmos are the food of my inspiration. They guide me towards a universe where everything is possible.
I like to offer people a moment of creativity and interpretation, because with their vision and their experiences, they will be able to see the message intended for them.
Artistic approach
My artistic approach is guided by freedom and joy. I am a visual messenger who transmits emotions, thoughts and desires through my works.
I find my inspiration in nature and the cosmos. My life experiences and my travels guide me towards a universe where everything is possible. My paintings are colorful and brilliant in order to take you on a journey and transcribe the universe from which my inspiration comes.
My creations are characterized by their fluidity, their semi-abstraction, and are the result of a gestural and spontaneous approach. I master the uncontrollable by letting the acrylic paint flow, slide and splatter onto the canvas. My artistic process involves the use of spatulas and a blow dryer in the manipulation of liquid paint. Once the paint is totally dry, the details and energy present in my works are achieved through the use of brushes, markers, airbrush, pigments and metallic foils. Sometimes I incorporate crystals and semi-precious stones to create a magical and vibrant atmosphere. The finish of my canvases is deliberately shiny and lustrous in order to recreate the effect of paint while still wet.
When people get one of my paintings, they acquire a growing source of energy in it's purest expression. I want owners to be able to see the message adressed to them with their vision and get lost in it.
